Concept for Enmore Pool public artwork.

The redevelopment of the Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre in Enmore involved a tender call-out for artwork to feature on the exterior of the building.

Working with architect, Richard Healey-Finlay, we developed a large scale graphic that would enhance the glass curtain wall near the entrance to the building, conveying motion, movement and excitement.

The idea was to soften the division between interior and exterior, and allow the light to filter through the pattern, onto the surface of the pool. Working at a macro scale and from a distance, the graphic also was designed to direct the visitor towards the entrance of the Centre.
